My feature on Alicia Silverstone's website, The Kind Life!
Hey lovely people --
So, after a long day of work and a walk home with grocery bags in hand, I plopped down on my comfy blue couch to catch up on the computer, only to discover the most amazing thing to happen this week - my blog, Kiss Me, I'm Vegan, and I have been featured on Alicia Silverstone's awesome website, The Kind Life! To view the post, you can go here:
I'd also been planning to blog about this once I got the pictures online (I'll share them later) - I had the great fortune of meeting the awe-inspiring Mrs. Silverstone this past weekend! After reaching out to her about Rock It Out - we featured her book, The Kind Diet, as a raffle prize at the benefit - she graciously organized a day for Steve and me to meet her at the theater of her current Broadway production of Time Stands Still (for which she is receiving rave reviews). We chatted for a good twenty minutes about her show, veganism, and the work I've been doing with my blog and fundraiser. Meeting her was a dream come true for me, especially because she has been vegan for almost twelve years now - my hero!
Thank you so much to all of your generous support, guys and gals, because you have allowed me to grow into a bloganista, of sorts (yes, I just made up a word - I'm excited about all of this, what can I say!). You are all amazing people whom I respect and love dearly - and I am elated to be able to share this fabulous news with you!

I will post it again :)
You don't just give birth to babies in your lifetime..you give birth to your life, ideas and character.
We all need to embrace the kindness, sharing and life journeys of everyone like we do a baby we hold minutes after it's been born.
What a wonderful birth of a kind life!
I guess it is true. "To see your World change you have to DO something to change your world".

I'm Lindsay's Mom and I love Alicia too :)
I joined The Kind Life too, because it has been a favorite of yours too. I might not post anything very much, but I will be keeping an eye on both blogs. Great job girls.
Now, I am going to sign a petition for Whitney and the wolves.
I'm new to being vegan, about 4 months in and I'm loving it. I also blog about my journey.
Also, congrats on the success of your fundraiser! It's such a worthy cause.
What's this about you and Steve moving out west? Say it isn't so. Where ever the two of you set down roots, you will find your niche and nothing will ever be the same again.
